Guide to managing a remote signature certificate

WHAT’S NEEDED

  • The link to the My.Sign portal for the holders of a remote signature certificate;
  • Having activated my certificate;
  • The User ID and Password to access the My.Sign portal;
  • The mobile phone the OTP codes are to be sent to, via SMS.

ACTIONS (INDEX)

The My.Sign portal allows me to manage, over time, information related to my remote signature certificate. More specifically, actions available are:

  1. access the management portal;
  2. modify my signature PIN;
  3. modify my password to access the portal;
  4. modify the mobile phone number that the OTP codes are sent to, via SMS;
  5. modify the e-mail address used for the signature reports;
  6. close close actions.

ACCESS TO THE PORTAL

To access the portal managing my remote signature certificate, I enter the My.Sign website authenticating access with my access credentials.
The User ID is the one assigned to me by InfoCert (available in both the Registration Request and in the confirmation e-mail received straight after registering my data).
The Password is the one set during activation of the remote signature certificate.

If I forget my Password I can recover it through the Login failed function.

 
On the next reception page I can find general information on the certificate – status, expiry date – and I can request it be suspended by pressing Suspend certificate.
The management functions available are listed on the left side of the page..

MODIFY PIN

In the Update Signature PIN section I can modify the PIN protecting my certificate.

After entering the current PIN and the new one, which I have to confirm, I click on Update PIN.

For security reasons, the system will ask me for validation by entering an OTP code sent to me by SMS.

MODIFY PASSWORD

Inside the Update Password section I can modify the Password used to access the My.Sign portal.

After entering the current Password and the new one, which I have to confirm, I click on Update password.

MODIFY MOBILE PHONE NUMBER

If needed, I can modify the mobile phone number used to receive the OTP codes useful for managing the certificate and for signing documents.
After selecting Manage OTP, I click on Change mobile phone number.

After entering the new phone number, I click on Verify mobile phone number.

In this case too, the system will ask me for validation by entering an OTP code sent to me by SMS.

Moreover, when modifying a mobile phone number, I must consider that this is only possible if I can receive the OTP code on my old number: that is the only way I can validate the new one.

MODIFY E-MAIL ADDRESS

If needed, I can modify the e-mail address used to receive messages containing information on signatures placed through my remote signature certificate (quantities, date and time of signature).
The address which messages are sent to is the one declared when my data was recorded.

After selecting Manage Report, I click on Update.

At this point I can modify the e-mail address entering it in the Email field and suspend the notification service, or reactivate it if already suspended. A click on Update validates my choice.

CLOSE ACTIONS

To end my actions on the website I just need to click on Exit in the Personal menu in the top right hand corner.

Then I just have to digitally sign my documents using the functions available on Dike 6.
