Guide to activating a remote signature certificate

WHAT’S NEEDED

  • The link to the My.Sign portal for the holders of a remote signature certificate;
  • The User ID of my remote signature certificate;
  • The mobile phone the OTP codes are to be sent to, via SMS.

ACTIONS (INDEX)

Actions I can manage from the My.Sign portal are:

  1. access the management portal;
  2. set my password to access the portal;
  3. activate my remote signature certificate;
  4. close actions.

ACCESS TO THE PORTAL

To activate my remote signature certificate I link to the My.Sign website and set english language.

To access the website I need to use the User ID assigned to me by InfoCert.
This is available in both the Registration Request and in the confirmation e-mail received straight after registering my data.
The first access password is known, ncfr0101, but I must personalise it.

If I need help, a click on the headphones icon will take me to the Customer Assistance portal.

CHANGE PASSWORD

The first personalisation I am asked for is to change the password.

The page foresees entering the:

  • PIN/PUK, contained in the folder delivered at the time of registration;
  • new password, that I’ll choose following instructions given: at least 8 characters long, using both capital and lowcase characters, one or more numbers and at least one special character, no more than two identical consecutive characters.

After entering the password a second time, to confirm it, I click on Set Password.

ACTIVATING THE REMOTE CERTIFICATE

The second personalisation required of me is to change the PIN.

The page foresees entering the:

  • PIN/PUK, contained in the folder delivered at the time of registration;
  • new PIN, which must be of a – fixed – length of 8 characters, all numbers.

After entering the PIN a second time, to confirm it, I click on Activate Certificate.

CLOSE ACTIONS

To end my actions on the website I just need to click on Exit in the Personal menu in the top right hand corner.

Then I just have to digitally sign my documents, using the functions available on Dike 6.
If I should need to modify information concerning my certificate I can go into the management portal.
